The Opportunity

Join Nutanix as a Sr. Business Analyst where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales processes and capabilities. With our rapid growth, we need to optimize and transform our revenue operations to scale with the business.


About the Team

This high-impact Sr. Business Analyst role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance sales efficiency, streamline operations, and support organizational change readiness. You will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives that optimize systems and processes while ensuring successful adoption through data-driven change management and clear communication strategies.

You will support and co-lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards across all phases—from planning and design to deployment and adoption. Your expertise spans the end-to-end sales process, including Configuration, Pricing, Quoting (CPQ), CRM systems like Salesforce, and subscription-based sales models. You will be expected to deliver actionable insights and innovative solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Your Role

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze detailed business requirements and current-state processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Documentation: Author comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that define scope, objectives, functional specifications, and success criteria. Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations and use BRDs as the foundation for solution design and implementation.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. Continuously enhance reporting based on user feedback and evolving business needs. Respond to ad hoc reporting requests using Salesforce and Excel for data preparation, cleansing, and analysis.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, including test case creation based on business requirements. Lead triage sessions to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of new tools and processes. Drive communication planning and execution to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment.
  • Training & Enablement: Create user guides, training materials, and system documentation. Deliver training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure successful user adoption

What You Will Bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in program and project management, with a strong track record in planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Business analysis proficiency, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans and solutions.
  • Skilled in developing and managing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that align with stakeholder expectations and guide implementation.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and reporting tools; experienced in building and optimizing dashboards and reports.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Clari, and CPQ tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at synthesizing complex data into executive-level insights and compelling narratives.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, capable of producing polished, executive-ready presentations.
  • Proven ability to lead change management initiatives and execute effective communication strategies.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to adapt quickly, manage ambiguity, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Comfortable coordinating decisions across multiple stakeholders and driving alignment.
  • Flexible to support U.S. business hours as needed for effective global collaboration.
  • Big 4 or consulting experience is a strong plus, bringing structured problem-solving and strategic advisory capabilities.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
